Education project in Upper Egypt to cost USD50m

The Egyptian German Company for Education Technology has begun work on a USD 50 million project to develop a language school in Upper Egypt's Minya Governorate, a senior executive told Zawya.
The school will comprise 56 classrooms capable of handling 1,650 students and will create about 70 jobs in the area, project head Moustapha Abdul Rashid said. "If this works out, we will set up a complex of higher-education institutes licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education, and create 350 jobs," he said.
The expanded project will include a complex for educational services, which will create 300 jobs, a 100-bed hospital, housing for up to 1,000 students and a 100-room hotel
